The shielded glove box is designed for aseptical handling of sterile radiopharmaceutical solutions under an integrated laminar down flow providing a GMP class A environment. It is a proven solution for production of Theragnostics or imaging agents like Ga68.  

This cell is a complete solution. The compartment is shielded with 50 mm lead on all sides and includes an internal stainless steel liner with rounded corners for easy cleaning.  
The SGB is available in two widths and can be equipped with a shielded airlock to enter the isotope in a lead container or with a preparation isolator on the left or right side for cold preparation of consumables. Either of these are connected to the main compartment with inner, airtight, lead doors.  
These compartments help you to accomplish the required cascade of air quality values needed to dispense your radiopharmaceutical solutions according to current GMP requirements.

To optimize the configuration of the shielded glove box to your specific needs, the following options are available:  

  • Preparation box PB-B. Designed for aseptic preparation of sterile consumables including shielded transfer hatch to glove box   
  • Preparation box PB-A-LDF. Designed for aseptic preparation of sterile consumables in HEPA filtered laminar down flow including shielded transfer hatch to glove box  
  • Shielded airlock SA-B. Designed for the transfer of sterile consumables via opening with tray to glove box   
  • Integrated generator vault. Including tubing pass-through to work area
