Von Gahlen looks back on a successful day with the members of the NKRV.
Friday, June 6, we proudly welcomed the members of the NKRV for an inspiring and interactive day that we organized. The morning program took place at the Cultuurfabriek in Zevenaar, where Deputy Mayor Arthur Boone welcomed the group and emphasized the importance of collaboration between science and industry in society.
The day was dedicated to the challenges of the rapid growth and development in the field of radiochemistry. This offered a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge and share insights from different perspectives. During the roundtable sessions, valuable discussions arose, including our contribution to the use of the Activity Distribution Center system (ADS) and the cyclotron.
In the afternoon, the group moved to our location in Zevenaar. Our experts were on hand to demonstrate the dispensing process using the robotic arm, including our open (OVDD) and closed (CVDD) dispensing systems, which can be integrated into hot cell production lines. Additionally, the guests had the opportunity to attend a demonstration of certified Type A packaging and discuss solutions that enable the safe transportation of radiopharmaceuticals.
During the tour of our organization, where a fully qualified production line was on display in the assembly hall, the attendees were able to admire the latest technological possibilities in the field of shielding. A special moment was the meeting with the customer, who will soon be using this production line in South Africa after it is dismantled and installed. He was in the Netherlands this week for the final quality controls (FAT test) and enjoyed demonstrating his product to scientists and colleagues from the field.
Von Gahlen looks back on this successful day with great pleasure. We are grateful for the presence and enthusiastic contributions of all our guests. It was inspiring to see how the collaboration between science and industry leads to valuable insights in practice.
